Pharrell Williams is sharing the experience of performing at Harlem's historic Apollo Theater. During his "American Express Unstaged" performance at the venue Tuesday, "Skateboard P" invited his "Blurred Lines" collaborator T.I. on stage with him.
During the hour-long performance, Pharrell showed off hits both old and new. After kicking off the show with new songs "Lose Yourself to Dance" and "Come Get It Bae," he went right in to his crowd-pleasing hit "Frontin'." He also took on songs he produced and collaborated on such as Nelly's "Hot In Herre," Snoop Dogg's "Beautiful" and "Drop It Like It's Hot," and Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl."
Apart from sharing the stage with T.I., the Grammy-winning producer also enlisted New York's own Busta Rhymes to drop a couple of verses from their 2002 collaboration "Pass The Courvoisier Part 2." He wrapped up the show with his chart toppping single, "Happy."
Famed director Spike Lee directed a live video stream of the concert on the American Express YouTube channel.
